WORDS UP / humility

The greater we value something and the less we feel deserving of it the more we feel mercy or love upon receiving it. A proud person, one with a sense entitlement, thus never feels love from others or God. Genuine humility, a lack of a sense of entitlement, is thus the foundation of feeling love from and for God and others.
