roots: New England Home by Shelia Narusawa Architects
After everywhere I have traveled over the years (with exception to Iceland), you just cannot take New England out of me, especially when it comes to rustic gray shingled cape cod houses with white trimmings, light sand, pigeons, and black accents with wispy grasses all about. Growing up not too far from the seaside in Connecticut, I was on the beach as a child always collecting shells and staring into the blue horizon surrounded by saltbox houses and weathered buoys.
This summer home, located in Chatham, Mass., was designed by Shelia Narusawa Architects.
