MISSING THE BLUE LAGOON, ICELAND

I strive to not have attachments but the Blue Lagoon in Iceland remains one of my favorite (ah hem, attachments) places to indulge in spa services and scenic landscape. This is by far the most amazing place I have stayed in terms of natural scenery, affordable 5 star accommodations, service, and geothermal pools with saunas, steam shower, and silica mud mask to clean out your pores available around the lagoon to use as you wish and included in the price.
The rooms are lovely and have a patio are where you overlook The volcanic rock and landscape. There is breakfast included and a espresso machine to use freely. They even had soy milk. I almost died. There are two places to eat at the Lagoon. A restaurant and a small cafe.
If you are looking o go to Iceland now is a good time as the US dollar actually holds some weight. Last year this time it would have been double the cost for me to go. I visited Iceland this past January and will indeed go back.

INK+WIT READY MADE WEDDING STATIONERY

Designed for NYC couple married at a lovely garden. The bride from Japan and the groom from Australia hence the kangaroo + phoenix. Printed on Crane Lettra by Pistachio Press

This design was made for a lovely bride who hosted her wedding at a rustic country barn site called Frog Pond in Skaneateles, NY. Two shades of blue were chosen for this pearl white accordion fold invitation. The design is double sided with panels. The last panel is a tear off response postcard. I did the same thing for my wedding and it saved an envelope and postage. It seems this has become a popular idea in the last 2-3 years. This design is available as a ready made invitation with choice of font. Printed on Crane Lettra by Pistachio Press

TWITTERIZED

I have finally opened an account on twitter
Not sure if this goes along with my quality of life improvements to aid in turning off the computer but it is a handy tool. I can say this much, I am not enabling messages sent to my iPhone. I need some sanity.

Mahashivaratri

Shivaratri is celebrated on the 6th night of the dark Phalgun (Feb or March) every year. On the auspicious day, devotees observe fast and keep vigil all night. Mahashivaratri marks the night when Lord Shiva performed the 'Tandava'. It is also believed that on this day Lord Shiva was married to Parvati Ma. On this day Shiva devotees observe fast and offer fruits, flowers and bel leaves on Shiva Linga.

We are all bloggers
It has taken me 4 years to start a blog. A fact I am almost trying to keep to myself. I love to journal and tried to figure out for the longest time why no blog. I arrived at the conclusion that I have been overstimulated with the amount of information on the internet and that the last thing I want to do is log my days on it. What I realized is it is time management (like everything else) and I have set a goal to blog every other day with at least 3 posts. There, take that overstimulated mind.
It is nice to have a place to read my mind.
