Soft Asleep
I hope you all had a lovely holiday. It has felt so great to rest and relax.
I was recently looking through a photo series I shot a few years back. I walked around my neighborhood for two weeks in the winter photographing flowers that had wrinkled and dried texture and muted colors. We also had this amazing dark wooded room in our old house where I would shoot a lot of still life. The dried white flowers against the dark grainy wood produced some of my favorite images I have ever taken of flowers.

CALENDAR SALE
We have a few calendars left and would like to honor you with a sale. Perhaps, those of you who bought it for a friend can purchase one for yourself. That was the biggest thing I heard three years in a row. "I gave mine away and now I want one."
Well, we have some and you can save. We literally only 20 left in the shop.
All orders will ship December 28th.

Alice is a delightful wedding photographer and person. We met this past summer when she moved back to the new York area from LA. Alice has been a photographer for many years shooting couples, weddings, children, and animals. She is one of the nicest people I know and has a really great home too full of vintage treasures.
Over the summer Alice came to my house and studio for the day to have lunch and take some pictures of me around my work. She captured a very light feeling which I love.

Blue Lagoon, Iceland
Need I say more? The Blue Lagoon is the most relaxing place ever! At least that I have been to so far. If you have been reading my blog or know me personally you know I LOVE Iceland. Trust me, book a few days here with your girlfriends or partner. You will not be upset or leave unhappy. Rather, you might apply for a position to work there forever.
